We went to this restaurant without any expectations, and I must say, we were absolutely blown away! The food was incredibly delicious, and the service was top-notch. Truly amazing! But what really made the night unforgettable was the kindness of Danielle and his wife. They went above and beyond by personally driving us all the way back to our hotel when there were no taxis available after dinner. Who does that? Only someone who is genuinely generous and caring. This experience made it clear: this is officially the best restaurant we’ve ever been to. Highly recommended!

I went here with my family on the recommendation of one of the locals for dinner. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The food was incredible, we had a few pastas, a pizza and two of the specials; all to share. The food was very filling and absolutely delicious. I'd recommend asking the staff for their recommendation on the special. We had the fresh fish and it was delicious. The chefs definitely know what they are doing with their local produce. The staff were REALLY friendly and helpful. They were polite and prompt too. I was thoroughly impressed and our visit here definitely raised the standards of what we looked for in restaurants for the rest of our trip.

We are staying in Vico Equense and stopped by this amazing restaurant. We were lucky to get the last available table, as we did not have reservations for a Sunday. Marco was our waiter and was beyond wonderful. He was very service-oriented, helpful, attentive, funny, charming and just amazing at his job. The food was unbelievable. I had a Squid Ink Gnocchi and my wife had linguine with mixed seafood as a first course. This was even better tasting than our second course, consisting of Sea Bream and Seared Tuna, both excellent. Highly recommend this fabulous restaurant and ask for Marco!!!

My family and I had the pleasure of dining at Ristorante Terramia on a recent Sunday night, and our experience was exceptional in every regard. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the stage for a delightful evening. Upon being seated, we were greeted by our waiter, Marco, whose friendly demeanor and knowledge of the menu significantly enhanced our dining experience. He was particularly adept at explaining the specials, including the fresh catch of the day. We started our meal with two orders of meatballs served with a cheese sauce. These meatballs were truly outstanding, with a perfect balance of flavors that left us wanting more. Additionally, the bread and olive oil served were plentiful and fresh, providing a perfect start to our meal. For her main course, my wife opted for the Rigatoni with Bolognese sauce. She was extremely pleased with her choice, describing it as delicious and perfectly cooked. The rich and savory sauce complemented the rigatoni beautifully, making it a memorable dish. I chose one of the fresh catch options, a type of tuna, which was an absolute highlight of the evening. Marco brought an assortment of fresh fish to our table, allowing me to select my preferred catch. After my selection, the fish was expertly grilled, and Marco presented it tableside. His skillful preparation was a spectacle in itself; he carefully removed the bones, head, and other unwanted parts before slicing the fish into perfectly portioned filets. The tuna was then topped with a delightful mixture of olives, cherry tomatoes, and a seasoned olive oil sauce. The combination of fresh, vibrant flavors was exquisite, making it one of the best fish dishes I have ever had. Marco also assisted us in selecting a white wine that perfectly complemented our meal. His recommendations were spot on, and the wine enhanced the flavors of our dishes beautifully. To finish our meal, we indulged in desserts along with Limoncello and Liquorice Liqueur, which Marco graciously brought on the house. These sweet endings were the perfect conclusion to a fantastic dining experience. Overall, our visit to Ristorante Terramia was exceptional. The service, particularly from Marco, was top-notch, and the food exceeded our expectations in every way. We highly recommend this restaurant for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience. We will definitely be returning!

We were recommended this by our B&B host and we know exactly why. We visited Thursday night as it was opening so wasn't crowded and we were greeted by a friendly host who understood a little English so we didn't have any issues with the order. The food itself was absolutely delicious and plates were returned empty. I had a sea food dish, noting my dairy allergy and my friend had a vegetarian pasta which they amended to her taste (very accommodating!) The other best thing about this restaurant is the view of the Vesuvius and the med. Would definitely recommend.

Terramia was the standout restaurant of our Italy trip, so much so that we came back for dinner a second night! From the food to the service, all was truly excellent. Our server Marco was such a joy who added significantly to our dining experience. From his excellent suggestions on the menu to his energetic personality and passion for food & drinks, our group of 6 all had fantastic meals. He provided a personal touch to our experience that really stood out, certainly one of the best servers we've ever had. The restaurant and chef also took fantastic care of both I and my friend's food allergies, with no cross contamination. My personal standout was the mussel soup and fried swordfish, however we thought all the dishes were generally very good, a 7-8 at worst. My mussel soup and friend swordfish were truly delicious with the salty, meaty, somewhat spicy marinara sauce. Excellent, strong favor in a country with relatively mild flavors. Thank you Terramia, thank you chefs, and thank you Marco! We hope to return!

This was our first meal in Sorrento. We were very hungry after our journey from Florence. The restaurant hasmd a huge terrace outdoor seating. It was siesta time but glad that they were open and we could order. Our server was the most gracious host ever. He got us Passover bread and the most delicious olive oil. We ordered Passover bread deconstructed with ham, eggs & cheese. The kids got spaghetti. Our wine was delicious. I loved my prawn risotto. The taste is still lingering in my mouth. The green peas gnocchi was to die for…. The open setting of the restaurant, wine and the delicious food created magic around us… loved this place and will come back again if we can….
